Back to School Supply Drive

by Madelyn McConnell

It’s binders and pencils and notebooks, oh my!  Yes, Grand Savings Bank family, it is THAT time of year again – Back to School!

Did you know that 48% of children in our area grow up in low-income families (less than $42,000 annually for a family of 3)?  And, according to a survey by the National Retail Federation, the average family with children in elementary through high school will spend just under $700/per child on school supplies this year.

We want to help! Grand Savings Bank is again hosting our annual Back to School Supply Drive! Together, we can make a difference.  Drop off new, unopened school supplies at any of our 12 GSB locations between August 5th and August 16th.  Supplies will go directly to kids who live, learn, and play right here in Northeast Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas, and the River Valley.

We are so proud to be a part of such a Grand Community! Help us help them, and while you’re at it, remember to enter our contest to win $250 in Grand Cash.*

*One entry per person. Employees and their immediate families not eligible to win.
