Gentry is Moving on Up (The Road)

by Madelyn McConnell

GSB has purchased a new property in Gentry! This new branch to be constructed will replace our current Gentry location. But don’t worry — we’re not going far. We’ll be just a stone’s throw from our current spot, moving from 101 S Gentry Blvd to a new larger home at 104 N Gentry Blvd.

This six-acre property will provide us with some room to grow. The new branch will feature expanded parking and wider drive-thru lanes for all of GSB’s customers.

We’ve been invested in Gentry for quite some time; it is actually GSB’s second oldest home! Our current Gentry location opened in May of 1980 as Decatur State Bank and then became the GSB you know and love in December of 2014 when the two institutions merged.

The GSB team is looking forward to serving the Gentry community with the larger space and expanded amenities. “As a community bank, we’re always looking for ways to invest in our communities,” says Guy Cable, President/CEO for Grand Savings Bank.

We are excited to see you at our new home and to serve Gentry into the future.
