Summer has finally ended (the humidity in the south is no joke, huh?), and we are welcoming fall with open arms. Cue the colorful trees, pumpkin-spiced everything, and colder weather because we are here for it! And let’s not forget Halloween. It is such a fun time to dress up and eat our weight in candy.
To ensure you have an eventful Halloween, our team has put together a list of Halloween events happening all over our region. From classical Fall Festivals to Stranger Things Trivia, there is an event for you.
Halloween Events in Arkansas
8th Street Market Family-Friendly Halloween
When: Thursday, October 31st, 4 PM – 8 PM
Where: 8th Street Market, Bentonville, AR
This event is chocked-full of wholesome family activities, such as pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, lawn games, and of course, a little bit of spookiness! If you are looking for an age-appropriate event to take your family to, this is the Halloween event you don’t want to miss.
When: Saturday, October 26, 6 PM
Where: Falling Springs Church, Decatur, AR
If the spooky side of Halloween is not for you, this Fall Festival is full of fall activities. You can roast a marshmallow, go on a hay ride, listen to some music, and eat plenty of food!
When: Tuesday, October 29, 7 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: Puritan Coffee, Fayetteville, AR
Puritan Coffee is switching it up this Halloween by offering a Stranger Things Trivia Night complete with waffles, coffee, beer, and 80’s music. Prizes will be given to the winning teams and the teams with the best costumes. Bring on your Stranger Things knowledge and eat some waffles!
Halloween in the City
When: Saturday, October 26, 1 PM – 5 PM
Where: The Shops at BrickCity, Fort Smith, AR
Here at Grand Savings Bank, we are huge advocates for supporting your local small businesses, and this Halloween event does just that. Celebrate Halloween while enjoying incredible fall sales in your favorite shops at BrickCity, eating gourmet samples, and trick-or-treating.
Carpenter’s Mortuary Spook House
When: Friday, October 4th – Saturday, November 2nd, 7 PM – 11 PM
Where: 136 E Main St, Gentry, AR
Believe it or not, there are people who love haunted houses and find joy in being scared. If you are one of those brave souls, Carpenter’s Mortuary Spook House is right up your alley. This neglected building is full of secrets, history, and yes, ghosts.
Trick-or-Treat at the Gravette Fire Station
When: Thursday, October 31st, 6 PM – 9 PM
Where: Gravette Fire Department, Gravette, AR
The Gravette Fire Station is hosting a kid-friendly, safe Halloween event. Dress up in costumes, meet your local fire fighters and police officers, enjoy free food, play games, and bounce in the inflatables. Oh, and eat lots and lots of candy.
When: Saturday, October 26, 7 PM – 9 PM
Where: Barnes & Noble, Rogers, AR
Calling all Harry Potter fans! Barnes & Noble is hosting a complete Harry Potter-themed Halloween party. You can expect other Harry Potter fanatics and a Harry Potter-themed magic show.
Trunk-Or-Treat with Superior Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram
When: Monday, October 28, 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: 504 Highway 412 E, Siloam Springs, AR
What’s better than shiny, brand new cars, costumes, candy, and games? Just be careful not to bring one of those cars home (but if you do, check out loans)!
Halloween Events in Oklahoma
Saturday Costume Skate & Contest
When: Saturday, October 26, 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Where: Rocket Skating Plus, Grove, OK
Rocket Skating Plus is offering a new way to celebrate Halloween by having a family costume night. That’s right! Bring your best costumes and skate the night away. You might win a few contests while you’re at it.
Candlewyck Cove Resort 2nd annual Halloween Spooktacular
When: Thursday, October 31, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: Candlewyk Cove Resort, Jay, OK
Candlewyck Cove Resort is not only hosting a family-friendly Halloween event for the community, but they are also offering a chance to win a 2 night stay in their main house.
