GRAND Businesses for Small Business Saturday
by Madelyn McConnell
November 27, 2019
Saturday, November 30th is the day set aside to highlight our small businesses and celebrate all they offer to our communities and economy. Although there are many ways to support a small business, on Small Business Saturday we encourage others to shop locally. When we shop locally, we pour that money back into our communities and build our local economy. According to 2018 Small Business Saturday Consumer Insights Survey from American Express, Small Business Saturday reached an all-time high last year, bringing in $17.8 billion in revenue to small businesses around the country. That’s $17.8 billion poured back into communities! Let’s make it even higher this year.
In honor of Small Business Saturday, Grand Savings Bank is honoring some of its regional businesses and how they greatly impact their communities.
