Grand Conversations | 5 Questions with Stacey Marave

In our latest grand conversation, we are pleased to introduce you to our new team member, Stacey Marave. Stacey joined the Grand Savings Bank team in January and is in our Rogers-Pleasant Grove location. Here are five questions for Stacey in English and Spanish.
1. Welcome to the GSB team, tell us about your position and what you will be doing at the bank: I am a Loan Officer based out of our Pleasant Grove location in Rogers. My primary focus will be on consumer lending but, I will also be helping customers with other lending needs such as commercial and business loans.

Soy la agente de préstamos basado en nuestra ubicación de Pleasant Grove en Rogers. Mi enfoque principal estará en los préstamos al consumidor, pero también ayudaré a los clientes con otras necesidades de préstamos, como préstamos comerciales y de negocios.
2. Why did you choose a profession in banking? I was 18 when I started in the banking industry and I like to think it was meant to be. I took leadership opportunities as they came and I soon saw the career path that was available. I am thankful to the person that opened these doors for me.

Tenía 18 años cuando comencé en la industria bancaria. Tomé oportunidades de liderazgo a medida que se acercaban y pronto vi la carrera que estaba disponible. Estoy agradecido con la persona que me abrió estas puertas.
3. What are you most excited about in your new role? Building new relationships with not only my coworkers but also my customers. I am excited to see the growth that will occur with GSB.

4. Where did you grow up and where do you live now? I was born and raised in Newbury Park, California. Currently, I am a resident of Rogers, AR.

5. Your favorite television show to binge watch? “When Calls the Heart,” was the last show I binge watched. “Empire” season is about to start and I plan on setting time aside for it!
